- 1/4 cup shelled raw pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup rice syrup
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1/3 cup Sucanat sugar
- 1/4 cup clarified butter
- 1/2 t. sea salt
- 1 cup chopped unsulfured dried fruit(apples, goji berries, apricots, raisins, etc
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 400F
-
Spread the oats, coconut, almonds, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds evenly in a 9×13 baking dish. Bake, stirring occasionally, for 20 min. or until lightly toasted.
-
In a 1-1/2 quart saucepan, combine the rice syrup, molasses, sugar, butter, and salt over medium-low heat and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-
Transfer the oat mixture to a large bowl and add the dried fruit. Mix well.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until well coated.
-
Line an 11 × 13-inch glass baking dish with waxed or parchment paper and coat lightly with cooking spray; spread the granolaa evenly in the dish. With a piece of waxed or parchment paper , press down hard to compact the ganola. Let cool completely.
-
Remove the top piece and carefully turn the baking dish over on a large cutting bord, allowing the solid block of granola to fall out. Slice into bars. Store in airtight container.
