Ingredients

  • hen you are ready to make your bread
  • 1. You will need 4 cups/950 ml of starter. Therefore, it’s best to time your last feeding before you use your starter to about 2 to 4 hours before baking.
  • 2. Feeding it a few hours before use in your recipe will give you an active and happy starter. At this feeding, stir and pour off enough so that you have about 2 1/2 cups left. Then, when you feed it 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of water, you will have a litt
  • 3. Wait a couple of hours for the starter to get active after feeding and then use it for making bread.
