buttermilk Biscuits

Serves 12 people
Ingredients
- 4 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour or Perfect Pastry Blend
- 4 teaspoons Bakewell Cream or 4 teaspoons of baking powder*
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) cold butter
- 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 cups buttermilk

Prheat the oven to 475 F. Lightly grease a cookie sheet or use parchment paper. Mix dry ingredients; Whack the butter to flatten it and work into the dough. Start with lesser milk and add more if need to.

roll dough out to 1" . Cut biscuits 2-1/4" round. Put in freezer and freeze. Take out and put in bag them in an airtight freezer bag. Bake for 15-20 minutes
