Buttermilk biscuits to freeze

Serves 10 people

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 stick cold Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Buttermilk

Directions

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees. In a large bowl combine flour & cold butter. Using a pastry blender or fork, cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse meal.

  2. Stir in the baking powder, baking soda, salt & sugar. Make a hole in the center of the flour and pour in the buttermilk. Mix with your hands or fork until all the ingredients are mixed. If the dough is to dry (flaky) add small

  3. amounts of buttermilk until smooth. Place your dough into a ball onto a floured surface

  4. Place the pan in your freezer for 45 mins to an hour. When frozen pack them in a freezer bag. When frozen bake at 450 for 15 to 17 minutes
