Mexican Style Rice

Cook time: 15 minutes
Serves 5 people

Ingredients

  • 3-4 T Olive oil or Grape seed oil
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup Guiso Mexicano
  • 2 cups chicken or Veggie broth
  • 1/2 t. salt

Directions

  1. In a sauce pan, heat the olive oil until it begins to get warm. Add the rice and diced onions. Stir-fry until rice is light brown and onions are translucent.

  2. Add 1 cup of Guiso, and the 2 cups of broth, and salt. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes or until rice is cooked.
