Clean Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 21/2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup finely ground pecans
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup plus 6 Tbsp ghee, divided
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3 cups coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13- x 9-inch

pan with foil. Grease pan with oil. Whisk

together flour, sugar, ground nuts, and salt. Add

1 cup ghee, and stir until a coarse meal forms;

press into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25

minutes. Cool completely. Combine syrup,
-
honey, milk, 6 Tbsp ghee, salt, and vanilla in a

saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil; stir

constantly 1 minute or until ghee is melted and

mixture is smooth. Remove from heat; stir in
-
coarsely chopped nuts. Pour topping over crust

in pan. Bake 15 minutes; cool in pan on a wire
-
rack. Chill 1 hour before cutting into bars.
