GROUND BEEF GUISO

Serves 5 people

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 Pounds of ground beef
  • 2 Tablespoons of butter or beef tallow, only if meat is two lean
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1-1/2 cups The New Plate Guiso Sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth (The New Plate) or water
  • OPtional:
  • add cut-up cilantro leaves

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef in an iron skillet. Add the onions and saute them until soft.

  2. 2 Add the guiso sauce and the broth or water.

  3. Season with more salt if needed.

  4. Add cut up cilantro leaves if desired

  5. Cook for about 15 minutes. If you want more liquid, add it and cook an extra 5 minutes.
