“My family LOVES bread pudding, and this recipe is one that I have fine tuned to their taste. I have to double this recipe, and bake it in a 9×13 inch pan for my family! It’s great for breakfast or dessert and is delicious with milk poured on top! Enjoy!”
Original recipe yield: 1 – 8 inch square pan.
- day-old bread
- eggs
- milk
- white sugar
- vanilla extract
- Hass Avacados
- Garlic
- Jalapeneo
- Lime Juice
- peeled plum tomatoes
- water
- ground cumin
- salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- bay leaf
- chopped fresh cilantro
- tortilla chips
- vegetable oil
Anything “Raita” is yogurt salad that is made with raw and sometimes cooked vegetables such as cucumbers, onions, beets etc and flavored with herbs & spices. Usually served chilled as a side dish. Goes VERY well with rice dishes and grilled meat. Bon appetit!

Use red, very ripe tomatoes on the vine for this dish, and it will be at its very best. =) It’s great in this heat… Goes particularly well with BBQ dishes also. Recipe serves 4 as a side dish.
