I make this using a bottle of “stuff” I purchased at the grocery years ago. I haven’t found the same brand…
- -
- COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
- "Victor & Paul's" Shell Fish Marinade Seasoning
- -
- POSSIBLY:
- Paul Prudhomme may have a similar marinade/seasoning
If you don’t want to make your own marinade as listed by recipe below you can use “Yoshida’s Gourmet Sauce” that you purchase from “Sam’s”. Use the Yoshida’s as it is out of the bottle or to enhance this add 1 clove garlic minced and some parsley flakes.
- soy sauce
- brown sugar
- wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- olive oil
- garlic minced or pressed
- ground ginger
Tweeked my recipe for a creamy butter sauce to make a slightly thicker sauce with shrimp to serve over a fine grilled fish such as flounder.
- Tony's Creole seasoning
- cream
- small clove garlic thinly sliced
- chopped fresh parsley
- Worcestershire sauce
- lemon juice
- flour
- white wine
- salted real butter
- unsalted real butter
- small shrimp
This is best if made ahead a couple of hours and allow to sit out on stove to allow the flavors to mingle. I save my ketchup bottle to store left-over sauce. It will keep for months in the refrigerator.
Goes great on chicken, pork & beef!
- margarine
- large onion finely diced
- garlic minced
- or two Tabasco sauce
- ketchup jar filled with water
- Heinz ketchup
This will be as pretty and firm as store bought canned sauce and be much better. So good and so easy you will never buy canned again!
- boiling water
- bag cranberries washed
- sugar
This will keep indefinitely if stored in a glass container (jar) in the refrigerator. I prefer to use “Heinz India Relish”, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
- Sweet Relish
- Miracle Whip Dressing
So easy you will never buy again.
- Lemon Juice
Use with prime rib or any steak/beef.
- sour cream
- finely chopped fresh parsley
This is great!! Enough to marinade 4 steaks, you need to discard once used please.
This is just something I “throw” together and don’t even measure.
- pepper
- liquid smoke flavoring
- vegetable or olive oil
