We grew up making this fudge for my Grandpa. We would help our Mom make it every couple of months and then my Grandpa would meticulously cut it into tiny pieces and stockpile it in his fridge for weeks. He was diabetic but he allowed himself a treat more often than not, and every time we went over to his house, he brought out the fudge from the fridge and gave us all a piece. To this day it’s my favorite fudge and one of the ‘sweetest’ memories I have of my Grandpa.
We always double the recipe.
