Southwest Barbecued Chicken with Tomato Red Pepper Dressing

This is a spicy, healthy version of the classic favorite. You can cook the chicken in the oven or on the grill.

  • whole roasted red pepper or pimento from a jar
  • red wine vinegar
  • water
  • dried basil
  • Combine all ingredients in a blende

  • Large onion - chopped
  • Garlic - 4 cloves pressed

  • Carrots - 2 large chopped
  • Celery stalks - 2 small chopped
  • Turnip - 1 medium chopped
  • Green beans - 2 cups cut into 1" pieces
  • Cabbage - 1/4 head chopped
