These muffins are extra large and yummy with a sugary-cinnamon crumb topping. I usually double the recipe and fill the muffin cups just to the top edge for a wonderful, generous-sized deli-style muffin. Add extra blueberries, too, if you want!

Healthy whole grain muffins.
Mom made this quite frequently as a healthy morning muffin. Nutri Grain just as a cereal isn’t available anymore. You could substitute with another whole grain flakes cereal. Adding raisins makes these even more moist and scrumptious…if you like raisins.

A traditional cake for the feast of the Epiphany. This one is New Orleans coffeecake style. A great breakfast bread, also. Use also for Mardi Gras celebrations.
This makes two 9×12 bread rings. Allow plenty of time to roll out, as the dough is very stretchy. The rolling and braiding is a little tricky and time consuming, but it is so delicious and festive, and makes a beautiful presentation. I’ve made this 3 years in a row for our family Epiphany celebration.
