This is made using a mix…but mix ingredients together and you have an almost duplicate of Olive Garden’s Dressing.
- Olive oil
- Good Season's Zesty Italian Dressing.
- Red wine vinegar or Apple cider vinegar
Love these. I have one recipe in here for creamed wax beans that are delicious…but you can just cook them. They are very tender and do not take long to cook. Their flavor is so mild that you primarily want to season with just a little salt, maybe some white pepper and butter. I would NOT recommend bacon/bacon grease or onion for these as it will over-power the beans.
Always use fresh…never canned. Be sure there are no “rust” spots on them…that indicates freshness, if you purchase them at the grocery…They do not keep as long as green beans.
